high-school diploma.
Nancy
Campbells English as a Second Language (ESL) program
is a vivacious community of hard-working students and staff.
Youth come to Nancy Campbell from all over the worldwith
major representation from China, Korea, and Mexicoto
embrace the schools unique vision and high-quality language
instruction. Beginner-level ESL students engage in an intensive
language study program, while more advanced students round
off their language skills with content from mainstream high
school courses.
Together, the members of NCCIs ESL department
the schools largest department have designed
a thoroughly comprehensive program, spanning the Ministry
of Educations five levels of language instruction and
covering all major subject areas: reading, writing, oral and
visual communication, and social and cultural competence.
As a goal, the department wishes not only to help students
get into the postsecondary program of their choice, but to
equip students with the language skills and the cultural know-how
to successfully complete the postsecondary program of their
choice.
